Who are we?
At Northwest Trial, we are highly experienced trial lawyers, and proud of it. We love what we do. There are a lot of lawyers who don’t try cases; we try cases.
Although over 95% of cases settle before trial, if you want the best result, your lawyer better (a) have tried cases, and (b) be the best prepared to try your case.
We litigate and try cases for the individuals and families we represent the way “white shoe law firms” litigate for their corporate clients: thoroughly, and with attention to detail. Our individual clients should get the same level of legal service that big corporations get.
What do we believe?
The question is not “why choose Northwest Trial?” The question is: Do you share our belief system? If you do, talk to us.
We believe in devoting the same attention to detail and the same level of hard work to our individual clients that attorneys for large corporations devote to their corporate clients. Our lawyers were trained in big firms that represented big corporate clients. We still have corporate clients. We think the “little guy” should get that same type of representation when going up against the “big guy”.
We believe in discovering the truth and holding defendants and insurers accountable to the whole truth. Our job is to uncover the whole truth; all the relevant facts. Our “little guy” clients have an equal right to the whole truth. It’s hard work getting institutions to give up information they want to hide. But, it is necessary and worthwhile work.
We believe in taking only meritorious cases.
We believe in being better prepared than our opponents.
We believe in out-working our opponents.
We believe in what Judge Learned Hand said:
If we are to keep democracy, there must be a commandment: Thou shalt not ration justice.
We believe that in our careers we have been helped by other lawyers, who gave freely of their time to help us. We believe in returning that favor to other lawyers.
We believe that lawyers only get the best results for their clients if they have tried cases and are ready to try the case at hand; or they associate with, or refer to, lawyers who share those beliefs.
We believe in what Shirley Chisholm said:
Service is the rent you pay for room on this earth.
We believe in treating our clients like family.
